What does this file do?

This file is a storage facility (in XML form) for language/cultural information required by 20/20 DataShed's setup utility and administrative tools (specifically the "Regional Settings" options).



The file includes the full name, abbreviation, hex value, and decimal value for each culture supported by the Microsoft Server operating system. This list is used by 20/20 DataShed to determine (and to make available) a list of cultures supported by an individual customer's web server.

This file may be useful for those customers who wish to translate our product: it can be used a reference to find the LCID or short name of any language.

Permissions and Security

Server

This file may inherit the permissions from its parent folder; but at the very least it requires that the IUSR_<localmachinename> (or equivalent) user account have NTFS permissions to read the file.

Internal

This contents of this file are available without security. The raw XML data does not (and should not) contain sensitive information.

This file does not require any maintenance.
